This has become our very favorite recipe for short ribs. The only modification we've made is to add a tsp. of concentrated tomato paste before cooking.

As someone who never cooked beef nor stew in an instant pot,.. omg. This recipe is gold and changed my life. I even tried a Chicken version and was sooo easy and delicious! Thanks Kristen! I will definitely follow your youtube channel and try other dishes you posted!

OH MY GOD!!! Best short ribs recipe I have ever found. We get our beef from a neighbor, half a steer at a time. Our short ribs come in 1 to 2 pound packs and they have a lot of fat on them. For over 40 years I have tried every recipe I could find and none of them were the "it" recipe. Until tonight. I followed your recipe exactly as written except I used 2 packs of the short ribs so I doubled the liquids and seasonings and it still didn't cover them completely when I put them in the Insta Pot.I used the red wine and the beef broth. Cooked them for 60 minutes and they were melt in your mouth, fall off the bone, delicious. The juice made into gravy was amazing as well. My husband loved it.

Wow I’ve never cooked short ribs before but I got a bunch when I purchased a half cow. This recipe was so easy and so good! I prep all my veg and freeze it so I had nothing to chop and prep went so quickly.

The depth of flavor this recipe had was insane. I served this over sweet potatoes mash and the sweetness complemented the savory beef so well.

Would love to make this recipe!! Would the recipe be the same for 10 short ribs? There’s 5 of us. Not sure if I can submerge that many in the IP. Do all the ribs need to be touching the liquid?

I made this recipe twice now and i plan to do it every Wednesday. It's a fool proof easy recipe which is right what i need on a Wednesday night. The first time I made it i used ribeye, garlic powder, and beef broth powder as that's what I had, but today i followed the instructions to a T even added the wine and it tasted even better. I also add 2 russet potatoes before closing the pressure cooker, and mash them with a fork once everything is done, add salt, milk, butter, and paprika. It's a one pot meal!
