The sausage balls are such an easy recipe. We had all of the ingredients here at home to make them for our Super Bowl Party. We had some spicy sausage, so the maple syrup was great to drizzle over them. They were definitely a hit!

In reply to Joe Mills. Hi Joe! This recipe calls for bulk sausage, like Jimmy Deans, not simply ground pork. Ground pork would need a lot more seasonings.

Made this with regular ground pork per the recipe and they are under seasoned. Either need to up the seasoning next time or just use breakfast sausage for the traditional flavor on these.

Great recipie but instead of milk. I added some Cream Cheese and it was Great.
Also added two tablespoons of Italian blend spices.
