In reply to Kim. Hi Kim! I use coconut sugar and LOVE that. I am not a fan of the stevia sweetener's aftertaste, but you can use if you don't mind it.

Hi,I am going to make the hot chocolate at home as soon as I go buy some milk.I have the rest of the ingredients to make it at home.I use lactose free milk as well as almond milk and other dairy free milk because I am lactose intolerant and regular milk has to much sugar in it.

Thank you so much for sharing those extra special steps as well as qualifying the difference in hot cocoa vs hot chocolate. Yesterday I made spicy using ancho chili pepper but using the chocolate chips and richer milk should really improve my drink!
