Hi Tina! Here is my recipe for Ranch Dressing, using this blend. I add 1/4 cup each of sour cream, mayonnaise, and buttermilk with 2 tablespoons of this blend. Enjoy!

Hi Anita! The flavor is equivalent to one packet 🙂 Use 2 tablespoons Homemade Ranch Dressing Mix as a substitute for a 1-ounce store-bought packet in recipes calling for dry ranch seasoning.

Hi!
Just wondering, early in the page it says this is equivalent of one package HV mix. Later I saw use 2 tbsp to make it. Just want to make sure I'm putting the right direction for it. Giving to my daughter.

I may be over confusing myself lol.
Thank you.

Hi Martha! I would suggest adding 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne powder to the mix to make it spicy.

Yes, the nutritional values are for the entire batch.

I am sorry you found that amount a bit too much--I do like it to pack a punch of flavor. But glad your picky husband enjoyed. If he is like my husband, that is a win! Enjoy your night Karen!

I found 1 tbs almost too much. But I adjusted as needed. Came out pretty darn good. My picky husband liked it.

Oh my goodness so sorry Lauren, the orginal recipe for the DIY Ranch Dressing is for 1 cup not for 1/2 cup. I am so sorry you misread this. I hate that for you!!! Nothing worse than wasting food. I hope you were able to add in some extra yogurt or mayo to the mix so you were able to use it.

I just wasted so much money on spices making this. You need to put in the recipe to only add however much seasoning to the greek yogurt. I thought it seemed like too much before I added it all, but searched the recipe and it says it makes one packet worth, so I went ahead and added it all. Bummer.
