Hi Elsi! You can add in an extra banana but may need 1-3 tablespoons of milk to thin the batter as bananas are a bit thicker than applesauce.

Hi Margaret! Without experimenting myself, I can't say with 100% certainty these ratios would work. I would need to experiment using oats, as the ratios between the two recipes are slightly different. I have a recipe for baked oatmeal muffins made with 100% oats that also has mashed peanut butter you could use that recipe, omit the jelly, and add chocolate chips.

Best muffins ever. I never review stuff, but I just made these. My hubby is a PB fan. He LOVES these and just said that this recipe is a keeper! Indeed. They are so light, fluffy, and delicious. I just used regular white flour and sifted it with the bp and bs. Definitely making again! Thanks for the recipe and the great site. I use your stuff all the time.
