Hi Renee! I do not have any experience canning, so I can not advise on this. Sorry! I personally recommend making fresh, refrigerating, and using within 3-4 days.

Hi there Craig! I am sorry you had issues. Did you cut the amount of beans? If so, the water would need cut in half too, or the timing would be off. Also, did you cook the beans together or separately?

Because I've been searching for a recipe where you don't cook the noodles ahead of time. Thank you !

Great recipe. All the family loved it. I used kidney beans I had made in the instant pot last week. Turned out perfectly. Be more clear in the recipe though- add the chicken back in during step 4? That's what I did because it was still a bit undercooked when I took it off the pan.

1) need a better idea as to scaling - a pound of beans is a lot of beans.
2) followed the instructions for navy and great northern beans and still ended up with mush. Suggest shortening the cook times for everything.

Hi Kristen! Love the name 😉 I would recommend cooking the dried beans separately using my recipe for Dried Beans, as they need a lot longer to soften and should not be cooked with salt, as that can interfere with the cooking process. Then I would proceed with recipe. Enjoy!

I forgot to add the cajun seasoning. I used fresh green bean, uncured chicken sausages and potatoes and put them all in the instapot. Dinner was ready very quickly and it was delicious. My husband even thought it was good!

Delicious! In our regular dinner rotation. Using smoked ham hock really brings it to the next level. I put two in, as sometimes they don't have much meat on the bone. I use 2 cups of water plus two teaspoons of chicken bouillon powder in place of the stock and it works great. I've also made it before with just regular ham and 1 teaspoon of liquid smoke, which is still great! Thanks for the delicious and flexible recipe!
