I am right there with you! Wasn't much into organic food until we were in the process of adopting our son. When we learned what his birthmom was eating to nourish our soon-to-be son, we were mortified! Faygo, chips and candy bars mostly. We began researching how to provide a healthy start for him once he was born. We came across a book by Dr. David Perlmutter entitled "Raise a Smarter Kid by Kindergarten". I learned that we had the opportunity as adoptive parents to raise his IQ up to 30 points...after birth! I had was thrilled that environment and nutrition after birth really could have an impact on his brain development! We also read and followed Dr. Denmark's nutritional advice. As a family, we eat healthier and feel better. Thank you for your commitment to share your experiences with other families.
