In reply to Claire. Hi Claire! Unfortunately, the slow cooker function does not work as well on the Instant Pot, but I do have a guide on how to use your Instant Pot as a slow cooker than may help. I would recommend cooking the oatmeal using a heat-safe pot on a trivet over 1.5 cups of water in the inner pot. Cook on medium (which is like low) for 8-10 hours.

Is there a way to use this recipe and the instant pot but set on slow cook overnight? I always has a generic slow cooker and set this overnight so in the morning everyone can help themselves on the way out the door. Since upgrading the slow cooker for the instant pot I cannot get this to cook in the slow cooker setting without burning to the bottom of the pan and the liquid being on the top
